WEBVTT 1 00:00:00.000 --> 00:00:04.200 Hey everybody, it's Mike Shay here. Just wanted to let you know we 2 00:00:04.240 --> 00:00:12.000 recorded this episode Tuesday evening and a lot is changed since then. Verdict has 3 00:00:12.039 --> 00:00:17.519 come down in the amber, heard Johnny Depp situation and there was another shooting, 4 00:00:17.559 --> 00:00:23.960 this time in Tulsa Oklahoma. So please forgive us if we sound ignorant 5 00:00:24.120 --> 00:00:29.120 or behind the Times or like our information is bad. Again, a lot 6 00:00:29.120 --> 00:00:33.039 of things have changed since then, in just a couple of days, but 7 00:00:33.159 --> 00:00:38.280 we think the message of the show still stands pretty clear about where we stand 8 00:00:38.320 --> 00:00:42.600 and how we feel about things going on right now. So please sit back 9 00:00:42.640 --> 00:00:48.359 and enjoy our conversation in this episode, despite the fact that it might be 10 00:00:48.359 --> 00:00:53.000 a little bit out of date. Thank you. Well, my one friend, 11 00:00:53.000 --> 00:00:55.799 he's a police season next police officer. He's like you, flaut said, 12 00:00:55.799 --> 00:01:00.320 it's like after Columbine. He was like, we are told differently how 13 00:01:00.359 --> 00:01:04.680 to deal with active shooters. We were told that it's your job to protect 14 00:01:04.719 --> 00:01:08.359 the kids, to put your life on the line, and they did not 15 00:01:08.519 --> 00:01:12.200 do that. Welcome to the Basement Lounge. Grab a share, grab a 16 00:01:12.319 --> 00:01:19.280 drink and settling. Let's have some fun. Last time we talked the buffalo 17 00:01:19.359 --> 00:01:23.400 inside out. He happened again, and then the shit in Texas just happened. 18 00:01:23.480 --> 00:01:26.840 Was that you've all Valdi. Yeah, that's that kind of glad. 19 00:01:26.879 --> 00:01:30.319 I wasn't. We had to take yeah, I know reason why I wasn't 20 00:01:30.319 --> 00:01:33.920 here. Last weeks I had a call on oscopy. He had a camera's 21 00:01:33.959 --> 00:01:40.120 ball and I was still on anaesthesia and now was so fucking yeah, before 22 00:01:40.120 --> 00:01:42.040 we getting that subject though, that call out. Well, I want to 23 00:01:42.040 --> 00:01:47.480 say so. I woke up and the nurses like you want anything? I 24 00:01:47.519 --> 00:01:51.280 was like, yeah, I really like some hair. One that's like, 25 00:01:51.359 --> 00:01:53.040 well, your mom's driving house. I could drive a could drive straight into 26 00:01:53.079 --> 00:02:01.040 a cliffics. That's exactly she like looked at me like you fucking crazy now 27 00:02:01.079 --> 00:02:06.359 that you're vlady. Thing is fucking it's the most and I knew we're going 28 00:02:06.400 --> 00:02:07.400 to talk about, said how we're going to talk about but it's like, 29 00:02:07.759 --> 00:02:13.080 I'm still livid. Oh, I'm so fucking angry. I'm so fucking angry, 30 00:02:13.159 --> 00:02:16.000 dude, I'm so pissed. I'm angry at the NA. Still had 31 00:02:16.080 --> 00:02:21.719 that convention and and as far as I know the only one who didn't go 32 00:02:21.800 --> 00:02:25.639 speak was abbot. I think, I think I know trump still spoke there 33 00:02:25.680 --> 00:02:30.439 and I think cruis did too. Yeah, like, I don't. But 34 00:02:30.520 --> 00:02:32.159 they banned guns from the from the thing. I was like, Oh, 35 00:02:32.560 --> 00:02:40.400 so soaked. So guns aren't safe. Yeah, so, and you're your 36 00:02:40.479 --> 00:02:46.439 father. So, like it's not even that. It's just like, HMM. 37 00:02:46.759 --> 00:02:50.960 It irritates the fuck out of me. It's like how more people having 38 00:02:51.000 --> 00:02:53.479 more like people have it island here, but like kids, he's kids and 39 00:02:53.599 --> 00:02:58.759 the whole like the cops are there already type thing. Like they got it. 40 00:02:59.039 --> 00:03:01.879 They waited. They didn't just wait, they went in and got their 41 00:03:01.960 --> 00:03:06.879 own kids out and like I might sit there. I'm like hat like. 42 00:03:07.039 --> 00:03:09.879 And their whole argument was like we they say. I guess I'mn't. I'm 43 00:03:09.919 --> 00:03:13.840 not read that much into because I've been so pissed off. How the COPS 44 00:03:13.879 --> 00:03:17.400 responded. Yeah, that apparently, like they said, they thought he was 45 00:03:17.439 --> 00:03:23.240 barricaded in there alone by himself, type thing. But yet they're having kids 46 00:03:23.439 --> 00:03:28.759 call in to one one and then the one kid did you serve out, 47 00:03:28.759 --> 00:03:31.039 the one kid that covered herself and blood. I'm like, first off, 48 00:03:32.039 --> 00:03:37.800 props, that's so fucked up, but like that is one of these smartest 49 00:03:37.800 --> 00:03:40.719 things. A ten year old should never have to do that? Yeah, 50 00:03:40.719 --> 00:03:46.759 no, at a war zone in elementary school child should not me do at 51 00:03:46.759 --> 00:03:50.919 war? No, no, or have the train of thought to think to 52 00:03:50.960 --> 00:03:58.199 do that. That's yeah, that's that's soldiers survival skills. It's and just, 53 00:03:58.280 --> 00:04:00.199 yeah, like the whole they were out there for over an hour and 54 00:04:00.280 --> 00:04:03.479 not only were they not going in, they were stopping other people from from 55 00:04:03.520 --> 00:04:06.159 going in to get their kids, to get their kids out. They were 56 00:04:06.240 --> 00:04:10.919 like straight up like tackling people and threatening to tage these parents in, these 57 00:04:10.960 --> 00:04:15.680 teachers. I don't understand it. Every, every day, something more comes 58 00:04:15.719 --> 00:04:21.240 out about this shit and it just makes me more angry because it's just sounding 59 00:04:21.399 --> 00:04:29.120 dummer and dummer like, like at somebody came up. I know what point 60 00:04:29.160 --> 00:04:31.399 is, like enough enough. Some may came up. Is like you rate 61 00:04:31.480 --> 00:04:39.279 about how they had to swap the swab. The parents DNA identify because they 62 00:04:39.480 --> 00:04:42.600 have it. That's how it fuck like, not fuck, but bad like, 63 00:04:42.680 --> 00:04:46.079 and that's at some point it's like people aren't there's a such a disconnect 64 00:04:46.120 --> 00:04:49.199 of what happened and some people like, well, my fucking guns, fuck 65 00:04:49.319 --> 00:04:55.279 you, and I'm like, and somebody suggested release the photos of the kids 66 00:04:55.720 --> 00:05:00.000 and I was like, as messed ups as that is, maybe, just 67 00:05:00.240 --> 00:05:03.360 maybe that would get those people to be like, because I almost get emotional 68 00:05:03.360 --> 00:05:06.920 about this guy because because we've tried everything else. Yeah, and now I'm 69 00:05:06.959 --> 00:05:12.959 with you, dude. I like, that's so fucked up, but maybe 70 00:05:13.079 --> 00:05:15.839 at one point that's what you have to do, is like release. I'm 71 00:05:15.879 --> 00:05:20.839 so angry. I'm still so pissy. I know I'm still fucking it's it's 72 00:05:23.000 --> 00:05:26.519 well, Matthew, mcmatthew mcgeth that's the town Matthew mcconaughey is from. He 73 00:05:26.560 --> 00:05:30.759 was down there visiting yesterday or today. It shouldn't never happened. No, 74 00:05:31.360 --> 00:05:34.839 and and just like with the with the guy from Buffalo, it's obviously. 75 00:05:34.879 --> 00:05:38.360 It's obvious. I mean because I think it. They said that this kid 76 00:05:38.399 --> 00:05:41.279 like shot his grandma or something. Yeah, before he went out to the 77 00:05:41.279 --> 00:05:46.199 school, and it's like these were you look at you look at these two 78 00:05:46.199 --> 00:05:49.079 backto back. One of them was a hardcore racist who hated, hated black 79 00:05:49.120 --> 00:05:54.560 people and wanted black people to die to the point where, like we talked 80 00:05:54.560 --> 00:05:59.079 about, where he saw on the video that was put out, he saw 81 00:05:59.199 --> 00:06:02.160 white guy as I oh sorry, and turned away from him, but was 82 00:06:02.240 --> 00:06:06.399 shooting black people that were already shot laying on the floor. Then you get 83 00:06:06.439 --> 00:06:13.040 this guy who's just such a fucking six psychopath. He that he he murdered 84 00:06:13.399 --> 00:06:16.279 twenty children. Yeah, twenty, over to over, twenty children, plus 85 00:06:16.360 --> 00:06:21.480 a teacher. And then the part that really broke my heart was so he 86 00:06:21.560 --> 00:06:26.720 murder. He murders this teacher. Her and her husband have four children. 87 00:06:26.800 --> 00:06:30.279 Yeah, that her husband died of a heart attack like the next day from 88 00:06:30.319 --> 00:06:33.480 all this, and it's like these four kids have just lost both their parents 89 00:06:33.519 --> 00:06:38.600 because of this piece of shit. And he turned eighteen, got two guns. 90 00:06:38.600 --> 00:06:45.000 I like what the week prior? Yeah, and I had hurt. 91 00:06:45.040 --> 00:06:46.680 I don't know if this is true or not. I almost don't want to 92 00:06:46.680 --> 00:06:49.480 say I had heard a rumor that there was like they had had like some 93 00:06:49.480 --> 00:06:54.319 footage of him like casing the place. Maybe, maybe I'm thinking of the 94 00:06:54.360 --> 00:06:57.079 Buffalo Guy. I don't know. Yeah, I think the Buffalo. I 95 00:06:57.079 --> 00:06:59.920 think it was buffalo. But when you have two of these things happened within 96 00:07:00.000 --> 00:07:01.680 like two weeks of each other, like ten days. They happened within ten 97 00:07:01.759 --> 00:07:09.600 days of each other, and I'm just I'm with you. I'm so fucking 98 00:07:09.720 --> 00:07:16.079 angry and tired of this and, regardless of your stance on on the Second 99 00:07:16.120 --> 00:07:20.279 Amendment or all that could I could give a fuck. Honestly, they're kids. 100 00:07:20.439 --> 00:07:24.800 These are children. I mean like, and I came out thinking my 101 00:07:24.839 --> 00:07:28.040 head is I maybe it's right, like I happened Sandy Hook and nobody did 102 00:07:28.079 --> 00:07:31.000 anything. Yeah, just like Sandy Hook. I mean, is this like 103 00:07:31.560 --> 00:07:33.959 what irritated me if you got on twitter people like, Oh, I bet 104 00:07:33.959 --> 00:07:36.639 he was illegal, like immediately, that's what it was. Oh, because 105 00:07:36.680 --> 00:07:40.040 his name was Hispanic. Yeah, and we're like, and I was like 106 00:07:40.160 --> 00:07:42.879 you, I saw someone on there who was like yeah, he yeah, 107 00:07:42.879 --> 00:07:46.079 you're right, he crossed the border from like South Dakota, like he crossed 108 00:07:46.079 --> 00:07:49.639 that as he crossed the state hold a Kyla Rittenhouse. Yeah, he really 109 00:07:49.639 --> 00:07:55.680 did. He was. He crossed like two states to get there. And 110 00:07:55.720 --> 00:07:57.839 it's like that's it. But it but, like you said, like it's 111 00:07:57.839 --> 00:08:01.120 like that's the first place you went with this. Yeah, like that that's 112 00:08:01.120 --> 00:08:03.319 your for you, not like those kids are killed. Yeah, you try 113 00:08:03.360 --> 00:08:09.160 to twitter politically to where you it's he's got to be an illegal, that's 114 00:08:09.240 --> 00:08:13.759 killing our right. And then when you probably found out that they were probably 115 00:08:13.439 --> 00:08:18.399 Hispanic children, or Pilo off. Fuck MMM, like those are probably illegal 116 00:08:18.480 --> 00:08:22.639 kids to like fuck you, like, fuck you. I as some dude, 117 00:08:22.759 --> 00:08:24.759 actually, the guy that fucking said that on twitter, one of the 118 00:08:24.800 --> 00:08:28.560 main guys. He's like a care if he was running for Congress or something 119 00:08:28.680 --> 00:08:31.720 you're talking about. Yeah, I called, I went off on him and 120 00:08:31.720 --> 00:08:33.840 I got banned on twitter for a day. Oh, did you? I 121 00:08:33.879 --> 00:08:41.039 got I fucking went off. Hmm, I'm surprised. I threw. I 122 00:08:41.440 --> 00:08:43.679 I sent a lot of Shit to Ted cruising sprised. I didn't get the 123 00:08:45.440 --> 00:08:48.840 getting. They fucking trouble. I basically told him, I basically call him 124 00:08:48.840 --> 00:08:50.799 a cunt and I was like, next time you see if I have a 125 00:08:50.840 --> 00:08:54.200 gun, put it out and pull the trigger to a close. Click, 126 00:08:54.240 --> 00:08:58.360 you fucking piece of Shit. That's probably why you got I know, I 127 00:08:58.440 --> 00:09:01.480 knew I was gonna happen. Yeah, the but fuck it. Well, 128 00:09:01.559 --> 00:09:03.840 you see about there. So there was this girl and I think it was 129 00:09:03.840 --> 00:09:07.399 her boyfriend or her brother or something like that. They were talking about how 130 00:09:07.440 --> 00:09:09.919 on twitter, how, like you know, these NRA groups and all that, 131 00:09:09.919 --> 00:09:15.360 are all about security and safety, and then they were they they got 132 00:09:15.600 --> 00:09:20.279 uck into the fucking rally through like the VIP entrance and were in the vipiece 133 00:09:20.360 --> 00:09:24.360 and the thing, we never got stopped by anybody. Now she's under investigation 134 00:09:24.399 --> 00:09:31.840 by the Secret Service. Yeah, yeah, that like it's just I've low 135 00:09:31.960 --> 00:09:37.039 key wanted you this documentary for like a while about how easy is they get 136 00:09:37.080 --> 00:09:41.159 a gun in America. So Steve Hofstater did that Jersey. When he did 137 00:09:41.200 --> 00:09:46.000 that, now, this is a few years ago. Steve Hofstad or when 138 00:09:46.039 --> 00:09:48.720 he was on tour, he just made these vie he was making his videos 139 00:09:48.720 --> 00:09:52.120 of him on tour and he just like went to just one of the city 140 00:09:52.240 --> 00:09:54.200 was in, like Vegas or one of the cities he was in performing in, 141 00:09:54.840 --> 00:09:56.879 got a gun and which is able to go get a gun? He's 142 00:09:56.919 --> 00:10:01.440 like, I don't even live in this state. My thing is like I've 143 00:10:01.480 --> 00:10:03.720 also been to the psyche wor twice. Yeah, it's like like so, 144 00:10:03.840 --> 00:10:09.279 like I kind of want to be like like that's my past. I don't 145 00:10:09.320 --> 00:10:13.600 trust myself with a gun right. I also want to bring it into places 146 00:10:13.600 --> 00:10:16.360 people not saying I brought it in. The yeses film the whole thing. 147 00:10:16.399 --> 00:10:20.559 Now, obviously not do anything to have it loading or anything like that. 148 00:10:20.399 --> 00:10:22.799 By then be like, but this is how easy. This is how this 149 00:10:22.840 --> 00:10:30.000 is how this all happens. Like, yeah, like, I I can't. 150 00:10:30.039 --> 00:10:33.799 Yeah, I still can't believe. I I can believe. Actually, 151 00:10:33.879 --> 00:10:39.559 I don't want to believe this happened. Yeah, but it's America, so 152 00:10:41.679 --> 00:10:48.320 I fucking can't. I cannot believe that. HMM. It's like I it's 153 00:10:48.679 --> 00:10:52.240 I don't want to be I don't want to believe. They're just ten, 154 00:10:52.320 --> 00:10:56.200 yea years old, like ten, I fourth grader, man, like they 155 00:10:56.200 --> 00:11:03.919 did nothing to anybody when I was in fourth grade, like, like I 156 00:11:03.960 --> 00:11:05.559 try to remember, like what I was like when I was that age and 157 00:11:05.639 --> 00:11:13.120 like the stuff that was going through my mind and no point at any it. 158 00:11:13.240 --> 00:11:16.159 You never, when you were that age, you never like ever worried 159 00:11:16.200 --> 00:11:20.879 that this was going to be like a possibility or something. And there are 160 00:11:20.960 --> 00:11:24.279 kids nowadays who go to school. I have a friend, I have a 161 00:11:24.799 --> 00:11:26.759 and I mentioned this like the day after the shooting. I have a friend 162 00:11:26.759 --> 00:11:31.159 of mine who she works for the school district where she lives in Canada, 163 00:11:31.080 --> 00:11:35.799 Canada, and the day or two and the day after this shooting happened, 164 00:11:35.879 --> 00:11:41.639 she was saying how parents were calling the district and wanting to know, like 165 00:11:41.720 --> 00:11:43.840 what security measures and things they had in place because they were afraid this kind 166 00:11:43.840 --> 00:11:48.039 of thing could happen there too. And it's like this shit is affecting everybody 167 00:11:48.039 --> 00:11:52.480 because everybody sees it happening, and parents left and right all over the country 168 00:11:52.519 --> 00:11:56.200 are pulling their kids out of schools and homeschooling them. Well, that was 169 00:11:56.200 --> 00:11:58.159 the weird thing. So, like I had literally thought my head, like 170 00:11:58.440 --> 00:12:05.679 I wife a teacher and like I'll always like she's like the whole idea of 171 00:12:05.679 --> 00:12:09.879 giving Tsher guns the most absurd thing in the world. Yeah, like absolutely, 172 00:12:09.000 --> 00:12:13.080 she thinks it's a joke, like not a not, like not a 173 00:12:13.159 --> 00:12:16.000 joke in a sense that like ha, but she's like I can't believe they 174 00:12:16.000 --> 00:12:20.759 would actually think it's ridiculous. Yeah, it's like why I she's like, 175 00:12:20.919 --> 00:12:24.720 I did not become a teacher. I wanted to teach kids. Yeah, 176 00:12:24.759 --> 00:12:30.879 like I'm not here to like do I love my kids wife try protect me. 177 00:12:30.919 --> 00:12:33.720 Absolutely, but she's like I'm not here to like, I didn't sign 178 00:12:33.799 --> 00:12:39.679 up to have a gun. I said, I did teach children, and 179 00:12:39.759 --> 00:12:41.120 it's just kind of like, you know, every single time she does, 180 00:12:41.240 --> 00:12:45.000 like they always tell me, she always tells me when they're going to do 181 00:12:45.000 --> 00:12:48.279 like one of those drills active shoot rights, yeah, and stuff like that, 182 00:12:48.360 --> 00:12:52.519 and she's just like and we all every sometime. I always talk about 183 00:12:52.519 --> 00:12:56.919 it and just something you never think about and then like you, you shouldn't 184 00:12:56.919 --> 00:13:01.240 have to go through that. You shouldn't. There should be no such thing 185 00:13:01.279 --> 00:13:07.559 as hact like what, like I tweeted Columnbine, happened twenty two years ago. 186 00:13:07.879 --> 00:13:11.720 MMM. The only thing is that's change is the name, the names. 187 00:13:11.799 --> 00:13:18.159 That's it. Yeah, nothing else has changed, period it. And 188 00:13:20.840 --> 00:13:31.960 I don't I to to be to have children. If you have children and 189 00:13:31.320 --> 00:13:37.039 all about your second amendment, right, like, I'll even go with the 190 00:13:37.080 --> 00:13:39.000 handgun. Think. Fine, I'll give you your handguns. Yeah, even 191 00:13:39.039 --> 00:13:45.519 your shotguns, sure, but to be like assault rifle semi automatics or whatever 192 00:13:45.840 --> 00:13:48.039 like, and you're like no, no, I can't take them. Fuck, 193 00:13:48.240 --> 00:13:54.159 like what, like somebody. I'm trying to see if I can find 194 00:13:54.200 --> 00:13:58.200 the post that somebody sent me, but it was basically, if you look 195 00:13:58.200 --> 00:14:03.320 at like all these mass shootings, these these big Mashings we've had like the 196 00:14:03.399 --> 00:14:09.679 last five years, all we're done with an airy. Every single fucking one 197 00:14:09.720 --> 00:14:11.519 of them. was that with an air fifteen. Yeah, like it's not 198 00:14:11.639 --> 00:14:15.440 one was done with this when it's not like it was all different. All 199 00:14:15.480 --> 00:14:18.639 of them were done with the same kind of fucking gun. Yeah, and 200 00:14:18.759 --> 00:14:22.480 as certain point, I know ar doesn't stand for assault rifle. Okay, 201 00:14:22.559 --> 00:14:28.440 I'm aware of that. It's still being used to kill a shitload of people. 202 00:14:28.519 --> 00:14:33.919 In one setting, I ted. I did it to posting on twitter, 203 00:14:33.039 --> 00:14:37.720 Ted crews and said that, you know, proposing arm cops and elementary 204 00:14:37.720 --> 00:14:39.919 school to deter school shootings. And here's what I responded with. In two 205 00:14:39.919 --> 00:14:43.759 thousand and nineteen, a domestic terrorists unloaded an assault weapon into a local bar 206 00:14:43.840 --> 00:14:48.559 here in Dayton, killing nine people in wounding seventeen more. The police were 207 00:14:48.600 --> 00:14:52.080 already on site and responded within thirty seconds. Yeah, having police there isn't 208 00:14:52.120 --> 00:14:56.120 going to deter this, is just going to make it end sooner, but 209 00:14:56.159 --> 00:14:58.679 you're still going to be able to get a lot of people hurt and killed. 210 00:14:58.720 --> 00:15:01.360 And that amount of time that at. That the whole good guy gone 211 00:15:01.399 --> 00:15:07.639 with argument's completely that braceat argument what having Texas brace our like it. It 212 00:15:07.679 --> 00:15:11.919 doesn't work. No, the only time a good guy with the gun argument 213 00:15:11.559 --> 00:15:16.039 beats a bad guy at the gun argument is if I'm right here. One 214 00:15:16.039 --> 00:15:16.960 of us is the guy. When I was a bad guy, then I 215 00:15:18.120 --> 00:15:22.080 shoot you before you shoot somebody else. Yeah, like I know you're going 216 00:15:22.120 --> 00:15:24.279 to do it. Like it's some my basically it's a minority report. Shit, 217 00:15:24.480 --> 00:15:26.840 yeah, point. Yeah, that's that's all. That beats out argument. 218 00:15:26.840 --> 00:15:30.519 Well, and it goes back to you're talking about the beginning. It's 219 00:15:30.519 --> 00:15:31.679 like, okay, cool, we have good there were caught the wheat. 220 00:15:31.720 --> 00:15:35.679 There were arm cops there and they waited outside for an hour before they went 221 00:15:35.720 --> 00:15:39.240 in. Kids are dying. Yeah, they were calling the police. HMM, 222 00:15:39.440 --> 00:15:45.320 and the cops did absolutely nothing. Yeah, and it makes me scratch 223 00:15:45.360 --> 00:15:48.559 my head and go, so, why is it that the cops feel the 224 00:15:48.600 --> 00:15:52.519 need to shoot unarmed black bed because they fear for their safety, but then 225 00:15:52.559 --> 00:15:54.600 they can't go in and shoot a shooter because they fear for their safety? 226 00:15:56.159 --> 00:15:58.840 Which one is it? Well, my one friend, he's a police season, 227 00:15:58.840 --> 00:16:02.080 next police officer, easily. I flaut said it's like after Columbine. 228 00:16:03.039 --> 00:16:07.480 He was like, we are told differently how to deal with active shooters. 229 00:16:07.480 --> 00:16:11.720 We were told that it's your job to protect the kids, to put your 230 00:16:11.759 --> 00:16:14.879 life on the line. HMM, and they did not do that. No, 231 00:16:15.000 --> 00:16:15.960 they didn't. And now is after calm. That was after calm, 232 00:16:17.039 --> 00:16:19.000 and there the training was different. It's not like that never really happened. 233 00:16:19.559 --> 00:16:23.759 Oh, no, column mine was was a hate called a wake up call, 234 00:16:23.799 --> 00:16:29.080 but it was just such a like we that wasn't a thing. Yeah, 235 00:16:29.120 --> 00:16:33.240 and calmight have it now. There's been so many of me can't even 236 00:16:33.320 --> 00:16:36.480 name them all. No, I was when I was looking at that list 237 00:16:36.559 --> 00:16:38.480 that had all of them with the are fifteen. I didn't remember a bunch 238 00:16:38.480 --> 00:16:40.919 of them. I had to go back and look and be like, Oh, 239 00:16:41.000 --> 00:16:44.159 yeah, I do remember that one. I like think Vegas. Remember 240 00:16:44.399 --> 00:16:47.600 like the veguest ones. Yeah, people died in that and it's just like 241 00:16:48.759 --> 00:16:52.279 that one. You don't get people talk about in nearly as often. No, 242 00:16:52.080 --> 00:16:56.879 you don't. Not. It's like what the fuck? Like and they 243 00:16:56.879 --> 00:17:00.360 said, I mean, there's no reason behind that either. Like and then 244 00:17:00.399 --> 00:17:06.519 you have then you have great. If Greg Abbot gets re elected, I 245 00:17:06.519 --> 00:17:08.759 will be shocked. Shit. Oh Bet, oh, did where you showed 246 00:17:08.799 --> 00:17:12.279 a bit as yeah, DIS rally or whatever. Might have been political, 247 00:17:12.400 --> 00:17:17.400 most likely. Yeah, but like did he have like every right that? 248 00:17:17.480 --> 00:17:19.880 I mean, like he said what a lot of people have wanted to set 249 00:17:19.960 --> 00:17:22.240 him. I think are just too afraid to say it. Yeah, or 250 00:17:22.279 --> 00:17:26.200 if they have, they wouldn't have their camera on them, right. They 251 00:17:26.640 --> 00:17:29.599 weren't. They didn't have a platform. That beat work, did yeah, 252 00:17:30.480 --> 00:17:33.119 but then you also get Greg Abbott, who says some Shit like Oh, 253 00:17:33.160 --> 00:17:36.720 it could have been worse. Do you? I cannot believe I. I 254 00:17:36.839 --> 00:17:40.960 saw red. I saw red. I was so angry I cannot believe said. 255 00:17:41.039 --> 00:17:44.119 I was like, are you fucking kidding me right now, like, 256 00:17:44.519 --> 00:17:48.559 are you fucking you just you just told all the parents who lost their children, 257 00:17:48.680 --> 00:17:52.720 like hey, you know, sorry lost your kid, but at least 258 00:17:52.720 --> 00:17:55.880 we didn't lose more. Fuck you, dude, go fuck, go, 259 00:17:56.000 --> 00:18:02.039 fuck yourself. I know, go fuck yourself. And then they had just 260 00:18:02.119 --> 00:18:04.759 after that, there was this bill that was being pushed through the Senate. 261 00:18:06.599 --> 00:18:11.319 It was meant to be a like it was to combat like domestic terrorism, 262 00:18:11.359 --> 00:18:17.400 Neo Nazism, and it was deadlocked. Forty seven. Forty seven, not 263 00:18:17.440 --> 00:18:21.839 a single Republican voted in favor of it. Really. Yeah, eventually Chuck 264 00:18:21.839 --> 00:18:26.880 Schumer had to switch his vote to know just that way they could just end 265 00:18:26.960 --> 00:18:29.319 it and that way they could bring it back up again. I was was 266 00:18:29.359 --> 00:18:33.000 going to sit on the floor. Jesus Christ. Yeah, not a not 267 00:18:33.160 --> 00:18:38.440 a single Republican, voted in favor of it. Lindsay Graham said, and 268 00:18:38.440 --> 00:18:41.319 I'm quoting, we've got plenty of laws on the book to deal with domestic 269 00:18:41.400 --> 00:18:45.599 terrorism, so I won't be supporting it. That is a load of Shit, 270 00:18:48.359 --> 00:18:51.839 because obviously we don't, because the shit still happening about Lindsay, Lindsay 271 00:18:51.880 --> 00:18:55.880 Graham, Oh my God, what he posts on his too. I think 272 00:18:55.880 --> 00:19:00.279 I posted on my facebook. Hold on, and I was like on twitter 273 00:19:00.359 --> 00:19:11.359 right now. I'm looking for see if I can find it. I still 274 00:19:12.440 --> 00:19:22.359 I have a post law show facebook lace. I got it. Good, 275 00:19:22.480 --> 00:19:40.599 post on facebook. There's the door thing, Lindsay Graham. Why someone would 276 00:19:40.680 --> 00:19:42.839 kill elementary children in school and shoot there on grandmother, I don't know. 277 00:19:42.960 --> 00:19:47.759 We are all hopebroken for the families and families and friends impacted by the sense 278 00:19:47.839 --> 00:19:52.839 of sact of violence. Twelve minutes later, with the resounding victory by Herschel 279 00:19:52.920 --> 00:19:56.400 Walker. Yeah, I was just like, yeah, you devoted no time 280 00:19:56.440 --> 00:19:59.400 to this, you didn't even give a shit. No, you didn't even 281 00:19:59.400 --> 00:20:02.640 give a fuck. He probably didn't send that tweet out. He probably didn't 282 00:20:02.680 --> 00:20:04.359 send out that. No, the first one. The first one, no, 283 00:20:04.480 --> 00:20:07.839 that was probably an aid and they'd probably sent that out. Like I'm 284 00:20:07.920 --> 00:20:15.279 just like I can't I read a fuck it, like read, like this 285 00:20:15.359 --> 00:20:18.519 is not the time. This isn't. You talk about not politicizing shit, 286 00:20:18.559 --> 00:20:22.839 but this is not the time to start touting people's said at victories when we 287 00:20:22.960 --> 00:20:36.720 just lost twenty children. It I I'm I guess, my God, your 288 00:20:36.720 --> 00:20:40.720 eat me and just I'm I'm at that. I'm also at that point in 289 00:20:40.720 --> 00:20:45.599 my life too. were, like so many of my friends have children, 290 00:20:45.720 --> 00:20:51.000 and what I've contemplay like I've I've had this conversation melissae yet. Yeah, 291 00:20:51.240 --> 00:20:53.119 like I actually had conversation with some matter work because they're about to have a 292 00:20:53.200 --> 00:20:59.279 kid. Seems like, is it? This stuff make you wonder about having 293 00:20:59.440 --> 00:21:03.000 homeschooling your kid, and I was like, honestly, yeah, it does. 294 00:21:03.319 --> 00:21:07.279 Yeah, it really does look, like I said, like there's been 295 00:21:07.319 --> 00:21:10.039 reports all over the country board of pulling their kids out of school in her 296 00:21:10.039 --> 00:21:12.400 home schooling, like then't want to send to school anywhere. I don't like 297 00:21:12.599 --> 00:21:15.839 I got this point, like what the fuck, like and their whole, 298 00:21:15.920 --> 00:21:18.079 Oh my God, the whole like well, they should only be one door 299 00:21:18.119 --> 00:21:22.920 in and out, like, what the fuck, go fuck yourself. Yeah, 300 00:21:22.079 --> 00:21:25.519 that what was the one. I was there. I'm trying to find 301 00:21:25.559 --> 00:21:29.519 this post that I shared the other day where it was. They had asked 302 00:21:29.559 --> 00:21:33.960 a bunch of like geops, like how fucking deep is that gun barrel in 303 00:21:33.000 --> 00:21:37.640 your throat to where you're fucking just sucking it off, like it like that's 304 00:21:37.640 --> 00:21:42.599 what they're just blowing. Yeah, they're literally blowing the fucking second amendment. 305 00:21:42.599 --> 00:21:48.240 You're like, Oh yeah, so this was on CNN and it was reasons 306 00:21:48.240 --> 00:21:52.880 for America's MAS shooting his crisis, according to Republican leaders Video Games, social 307 00:21:52.920 --> 00:21:56.720 media, quote, wokeness and Liberal Indoctrin nation, critical race theory, single 308 00:21:56.799 --> 00:22:00.880 mother households, too much screen time, not enough church doors, drugs, 309 00:22:00.920 --> 00:22:04.759 not enough discipline at schools. I sell that. I showed that. The 310 00:22:04.799 --> 00:22:10.640 MISSA was just like what the fuck? Yeah, she's like what as I 311 00:22:10.720 --> 00:22:15.400 yeah, they're blaming everything, but HMM, and notice, notice how mental 312 00:22:15.440 --> 00:22:18.519 hell there's always the first ones to say it's a mental health problem, not 313 00:22:18.599 --> 00:22:22.440 a gun problem. Mental health is it anywhere on that? fucking doors are 314 00:22:22.440 --> 00:22:26.640 but doors. If we we had had more doors, credical race theory. 315 00:22:26.839 --> 00:22:30.720 Yeah, I always just like you got single mom. I'm single mother, 316 00:22:30.759 --> 00:22:33.039 households. I was the child of a single mother. You Fox, like. 317 00:22:33.200 --> 00:22:36.759 I was just like sit there. I was just like I read that 318 00:22:36.759 --> 00:22:41.920 and I was like, Oh my God, they just don't even give a 319 00:22:41.960 --> 00:22:45.079 shit. Literally, what is anything we can think of? That isn't what 320 00:22:45.160 --> 00:22:51.000 the problem I have all I like I've I literally when I broke it down 321 00:22:51.079 --> 00:22:55.920 to why people use a gun, like I gotta find that, but I 322 00:22:55.920 --> 00:23:00.400 can't if I can find this post or not. I literally broke it down 323 00:23:00.480 --> 00:23:07.559 one time to where why people use a gun. Hold on, how are 324 00:23:07.599 --> 00:23:12.599 you? There's something on your profile on your phone. You see the little 325 00:23:12.640 --> 00:23:15.119 thing of the tops? Yeah, well, you can do that or there 326 00:23:15.160 --> 00:23:22.400 should be a thing where you can just search. Oh Yeah, go to 327 00:23:22.400 --> 00:23:26.599 your profile. You see the three dots over here. Get that and you 328 00:23:26.599 --> 00:23:30.160 should see where it says. I what doesn't yeah, they down the bottom 329 00:23:30.240 --> 00:23:51.359 says search. Yep, okay, I can't remember what November ten, two 330 00:23:51.359 --> 00:23:55.519 thousand and eighteen, I don't remember what happened around this time. Hmm, 331 00:23:59.759 --> 00:24:04.720 I you said November. Yeah, so I have it all right now. 332 00:24:04.759 --> 00:24:07.240 Why people will use a gun to commit these mats us and it's simple, 333 00:24:07.279 --> 00:24:11.400 it's ARY Manufactur it's easy, concealed. The amount of distance between the person 334 00:24:11.559 --> 00:24:15.039 using the gun in the intended targets can be far. Can Be far enough 335 00:24:15.079 --> 00:24:18.160 for a person still get away. It only takes a pool of a finger 336 00:24:18.200 --> 00:24:21.720 to get the desired effect they intend to happen. It's a easy, convenient 337 00:24:21.759 --> 00:24:23.880 way to commit a maximum amount of damage with little amount of obstacle, all 338 00:24:23.880 --> 00:24:27.960 while still keeping yourself at a distance. The intent is being able to walk 339 00:24:27.960 --> 00:24:33.200 into a crowd of room with no one knowing what's about to happen. Yeah, 340 00:24:33.240 --> 00:24:36.640 and pretty surely got me put on a list. When do you say? 341 00:24:36.680 --> 00:24:41.440 You posted that November ten, two thousand and eighteen. So there was 342 00:24:41.519 --> 00:24:47.559 the thousand oaks shooting, which was November seven, which was in thousand oaks, 343 00:24:47.599 --> 00:24:52.519 California, which was this this college bar, and then there was also 344 00:24:52.839 --> 00:24:57.960 the tallahassee shooting on the second. That was the one where guy shot up 345 00:24:57.960 --> 00:25:04.000 at y Yoga Studio in a Tallahassee Florida. But I mean it's there was 346 00:25:04.039 --> 00:25:17.000 a there was a bunch memory sharing that. Yeah, it the thing I 347 00:25:17.039 --> 00:25:25.319 think that really scent kind of describe my feelings about it was someone somebody said, 348 00:25:25.359 --> 00:25:29.799 which was if I see a kid hit somebody with a stick, I'm 349 00:25:30.000 --> 00:25:32.279 going to blame the kid, but I'm going to take the stick away. 350 00:25:32.720 --> 00:25:38.680 Yeah, it's like, yeah, no one's trying to blame guns specifically for 351 00:25:38.759 --> 00:25:47.119 this, but blame is a shooter. But we should still do something about 352 00:25:47.160 --> 00:25:51.079 the access to these two because these everyone we've heard. What do? They 353 00:25:51.119 --> 00:25:53.839 always say they purchased a gun legally. And they say, well, we 354 00:25:53.920 --> 00:25:56.880 if you were strict the guns, people are still going to get I was 355 00:25:56.920 --> 00:25:59.039 like, yeah, but the people who were doing these shootings are the ones 356 00:25:59.039 --> 00:26:03.920 buying them legally. Yeah, people who buy guns illegally normally don't do stuff 357 00:26:03.960 --> 00:26:07.160 like that because they're doing illegal stuff to begin with. Yeah, they don't 358 00:26:07.160 --> 00:26:11.160 want to get caught. Yeah, it's you know, and like I think 359 00:26:11.200 --> 00:26:18.519 I broke it down logically and what I said, because that's, if you 360 00:26:18.559 --> 00:26:21.599 look at from a logical that's what kind of what you can inflict the maximount 361 00:26:21.640 --> 00:26:23.880 damage at least amount of effort. Yeah, you literally, and it's not 362 00:26:23.920 --> 00:26:29.720 that hard. And you also, when you look at it, using a 363 00:26:29.720 --> 00:26:33.359 gun, especially a gun with that kind of range, disconnects. It creates 364 00:26:33.359 --> 00:26:36.160 a disconnects. It's the same. It's the same as like we talked about 365 00:26:36.160 --> 00:26:38.960 like anonimity on the Internet. Yeah, people like to be shitty in like 366 00:26:40.039 --> 00:26:42.279 Youtube comments because you can hide who you are and when you're using a gun 367 00:26:42.319 --> 00:26:45.200 like that, you don't have to look your victim in the eye. You 368 00:26:45.240 --> 00:26:48.240 don't have to. You can just write them off as you can get. 369 00:26:48.319 --> 00:26:52.119 You said. Creates a disconnect. That's exactly what it is and it's just 370 00:26:55.039 --> 00:27:04.519 I just yeah, I can and I'm still irritated. No, I'm I'm 371 00:27:04.559 --> 00:27:14.799 pissed off. I'm very pissed off, and it's just when you look at 372 00:27:14.839 --> 00:27:21.680 how many times we've created new laws, new policies for the Little Shit. 373 00:27:22.599 --> 00:27:27.000 You know, one person tried to smuggle an explosive in a bottle of liquid 374 00:27:27.039 --> 00:27:32.359 and now we can't take balls of toothpaste on the air plan anymore. or 375 00:27:32.400 --> 00:27:37.680 I take my shoes off where I go through the thing, schools and and 376 00:27:37.160 --> 00:27:45.039 shopping centers are getting shot up constantly and we've done nothing. We've done nothing, 377 00:27:45.079 --> 00:27:48.759 and that it's not like we've done little things that haven't worked. We've 378 00:27:48.799 --> 00:27:51.000 done nothing. One of the thing was like, I mean, you look 379 00:27:51.000 --> 00:27:53.480 at it to like there's the assault right, the assault band up into two 380 00:27:53.480 --> 00:27:57.119 thousand and four, and it wasn't them in a mash eating's kicked up once. 381 00:27:57.160 --> 00:28:00.599 That was completely like there's an obviously their correlation between the two. Like 382 00:28:02.519 --> 00:28:07.960 yeah, it's it just what I one thing I loved was the other day, 383 00:28:08.519 --> 00:28:15.400 after I think it was after Texas, the Yankees were playing. Oh 384 00:28:15.440 --> 00:28:18.160 yeah, and Yankees posted. Also, so do the other team. The 385 00:28:18.200 --> 00:28:21.240 other day, both both teams use their twitters for the entirety of the game, 386 00:28:21.839 --> 00:28:30.279 posting not only stats and facts about gun violence, but then immediately following 387 00:28:30.319 --> 00:28:33.240 up that tweet with a link to the source of that information. Fantastic on 388 00:28:33.279 --> 00:28:37.039 there. So Great. I it's I was such a fucking Yankees Fan that 389 00:28:37.119 --> 00:28:41.720 day, so I was like, I can't believe they're doing this. Yeah, 390 00:28:41.799 --> 00:28:45.279 I wouldn't Piss so many people off, and it just made me so 391 00:28:45.319 --> 00:28:48.000 happy that they were angry. Like be be pissed. Why are you pissed 392 00:28:48.000 --> 00:28:51.799 about this and not the fact of twenty children murder? Yeah, why is 393 00:28:51.880 --> 00:28:56.680 this the thing that pisses you off? It your it shows a type person 394 00:28:56.720 --> 00:28:59.200 you really are. Did does it a hundred percent us? Well, my 395 00:28:59.279 --> 00:29:03.880 thing was it also it's the same people that like covid's not real, and 396 00:29:03.920 --> 00:29:06.680 then they only believe it until I don't believe until it happens to them. 397 00:29:06.839 --> 00:29:11.559 MMM, like that's that's the same fucking people. These are the same people 398 00:29:11.559 --> 00:29:17.440 who I saw today that dating Ourta for the summer is going to be doing 399 00:29:18.039 --> 00:29:21.960 free bus rides on the weekends because gas prices are going up and all that. 400 00:29:22.400 --> 00:29:26.359 So on the weekends there's no charge to ride the bus, and people 401 00:29:26.440 --> 00:29:30.759 were bitching about it, saying that it was, you know, so home, 402 00:29:30.799 --> 00:29:33.559 we're look, nothing's actually free, while I was going to come back 403 00:29:33.559 --> 00:29:37.359 and bite the taxpayers in the ASS and or I'm not riding that bus if 404 00:29:37.359 --> 00:29:40.000 they're still making me wear a mask or something. BLABBA. It's like fine 405 00:29:40.000 --> 00:29:42.599 then, to stay at home and just say the fucking home. Yep, 406 00:29:42.880 --> 00:29:45.880 there was one guy who was like I'm not getting on as on one of 407 00:29:45.920 --> 00:29:49.039 these fucking buses that's got all these fucking homeless people shitting in the corner, 408 00:29:49.079 --> 00:29:53.599 and I was just like, you seemed to have seriously underestimated the root the 409 00:29:53.640 --> 00:29:59.039 freedom you feel shitting in the corner of a bus. Just say, yeah, 410 00:29:59.079 --> 00:30:00.599 you tried it, it's fun, but hit it's a bit. Those 411 00:30:00.599 --> 00:30:03.319 are this is a you. These are the same fucking people. These are 412 00:30:03.319 --> 00:30:11.920 the same fucking people who I'm so pissed. I'm just I'm so fucking pissed 413 00:30:11.960 --> 00:30:15.440 off about this sounds. I get you. I Like I was glad that 414 00:30:15.559 --> 00:30:18.640 night, like honestly, that I we didn't have VI, didn't do this 415 00:30:18.720 --> 00:30:21.960 because, like, yeah, I was still trying to wrap my brain. 416 00:30:22.000 --> 00:30:23.119 I wasn't I wasn't going to be in the mood. I wasn't going to 417 00:30:23.160 --> 00:30:27.839 be in the fucking mood. I honestly wasn't around that. Like you know 418 00:30:27.920 --> 00:30:33.039 how like fucked up something as eve when you're on anesthesia. You're like what, 419 00:30:37.400 --> 00:30:41.279 like that's how fun. You're like Whoa, like yeah, what the 420 00:30:41.319 --> 00:30:45.920 fuck does that like? Huh, I got I like because I was like 421 00:30:47.279 --> 00:30:49.680 I thought for Split Second I literally did think I read it wrong, because 422 00:30:49.720 --> 00:30:52.119 I was still like, I'm still honest, it kind of loopy, but 423 00:30:52.119 --> 00:30:56.039 then I was like this is hmm. Now I'm like, well, it's 424 00:30:56.079 --> 00:30:59.559 another day in America. Yeah, because, like I might even over the 425 00:30:59.640 --> 00:31:03.200 fact buffalo happened. Yeah, I'm still I'm still dealing with that one, 426 00:31:03.240 --> 00:31:07.400 like to where I'm like, because I went to my mom's for dinner on 427 00:31:07.440 --> 00:31:11.680 Tuesday because we weren't doing the show. And then like right when I got 428 00:31:11.680 --> 00:31:15.559 there, when I heard about it happen, that the shooting happening and and 429 00:31:15.640 --> 00:31:18.799 we was todd was talking with with because my aunt and uncle didn't know that 430 00:31:18.839 --> 00:31:22.720 the guy in buffalo live streamed his shit. When I told them that, 431 00:31:22.759 --> 00:31:27.160 they were both just like what the fuck? And it it's like, yeah, 432 00:31:27.200 --> 00:31:33.480 I'm still I'm still trying to process that one. The only only different, 433 00:31:33.480 --> 00:31:36.039 the only real durts wing the two is that they killed this shooter. 434 00:31:37.640 --> 00:31:38.960 Yeah, I want in Texas, because he I guess, well, he's 435 00:31:40.000 --> 00:31:42.160 Mexican. Yeah. Well, from what they said, that is that he 436 00:31:44.960 --> 00:31:47.559 tried to try to fight back or raise this gun like he was going to 437 00:31:47.599 --> 00:31:48.839 start shooting at him, which I'm like, well then, yeah, shoot 438 00:31:48.920 --> 00:31:52.759 him, fine, I honestly don't care. She shot the fucking they should 439 00:31:52.799 --> 00:31:56.680 have shot the guy in Buffalo. I still can't. Yeah, the thing 440 00:31:56.839 --> 00:32:00.440 is like a that he should be dead by wish you would have died slower. 441 00:32:00.279 --> 00:32:07.440 Oh yeah, much slower painful. I've also seen this, this this 442 00:32:07.440 --> 00:32:09.599 thing getting shared around face. What people are saying that a cop didn't that 443 00:32:09.680 --> 00:32:14.400 the cops didn't shoot the guy in Texas, that it was like some parent 444 00:32:14.440 --> 00:32:16.680 with his own shotgun, that he's that's not fucking true. Stop sharing. 445 00:32:16.720 --> 00:32:20.200 If I see somebody sharing that, I'm fucking calling you out, like. 446 00:32:20.279 --> 00:32:24.079 That's not it's not true at all. Please stop sharing that. That's it's 447 00:32:24.319 --> 00:32:29.759 a hundred percent false. There was that. I think it was actually a 448 00:32:29.759 --> 00:32:32.559 real the lady that got eventually got aver cops, is still wanted and got 449 00:32:32.559 --> 00:32:38.480 our kids. That parts real because that there's video of that Shit. Good 450 00:32:38.519 --> 00:32:42.920 for her, good for her. The fact that they, these cops, 451 00:32:42.960 --> 00:32:50.039 went in and got their own kids out and nobody else makes me so fucking 452 00:32:50.079 --> 00:32:54.400 angry. Why? I get the I get the idea of like, you 453 00:32:54.440 --> 00:32:58.480 want to save your kids. I get that. So did everybody else that 454 00:32:58.519 --> 00:33:04.720 you were telling to go fuck themselves while you were sitting outside waiting. I 455 00:33:04.839 --> 00:33:06.599 how is it going to go with this? Was it going to go with 456 00:33:06.720 --> 00:33:21.359 us? So I just the idea of saving your kids is fine, like, 457 00:33:21.440 --> 00:33:22.920 I get it. Like you care about your kids, and I get 458 00:33:23.000 --> 00:33:30.440 that, but you waited the idea that that a child had to cover herself 459 00:33:30.519 --> 00:33:37.759 and blood. MMM, so the shooter thoughts she died her friends blood, 460 00:33:37.799 --> 00:33:40.799 mind you. Yeah, I'm sure they're all friends, because what someone she 461 00:33:40.880 --> 00:33:45.640 knew the blood of one of her classmates, knowing that she was dead. 462 00:33:45.920 --> 00:33:54.039 Yeah, when I when I read that, I think I started crying, 463 00:33:54.039 --> 00:33:59.119 like right there on the spot that that hit me so fucking hard. I 464 00:33:59.160 --> 00:34:01.880 was just like what the fuck that and the whole husband dying. I was 465 00:34:01.920 --> 00:34:07.599 as yeah, I can't believe that. Right now, I can't believe like, 466 00:34:07.400 --> 00:34:12.880 what more can you take away from a fan like family at that point? 467 00:34:13.559 --> 00:34:22.480 Yeah, like, yeah, no, there's something really fucking wrong and 468 00:34:22.519 --> 00:34:25.800 they won't do anything about it. I think this is the best opportunity to 469 00:34:25.800 --> 00:34:30.639 do something. If I feel like I say this every time we have one 470 00:34:30.639 --> 00:34:34.639 of these, but like, if this isn't the one to get people's ass 471 00:34:34.639 --> 00:34:37.440 and gear, the onion doesn't even post that article anymore. I don't think. 472 00:34:37.480 --> 00:34:40.199 No, that's how bad it is. Yeah, the articles is like 473 00:34:40.440 --> 00:34:47.719 the onions just like we're out. Yeah, like so bad the onion. 474 00:34:50.400 --> 00:35:01.559 This is like what the fuck? M I just they only the only good 475 00:35:01.599 --> 00:35:06.159 thing I could come out of this. Two the good things can come out 476 00:35:06.159 --> 00:35:10.119 as one. They do something immediately. M Or, to those kids. 477 00:35:10.239 --> 00:35:15.920 These kids have had to deal with this. are going to become politicians. 478 00:35:15.920 --> 00:35:19.079 Oh, yeah, road like that age group, and I'm saying those kids 479 00:35:19.159 --> 00:35:21.880 drone with that age group. Yeah, is having to deal with this shit. 480 00:35:21.960 --> 00:35:27.159 Yeah, will become politicians and I guarantee you they're going to change it. 481 00:35:27.320 --> 00:35:29.679 We're going one point in time, we're going to get to a point 482 00:35:29.840 --> 00:35:36.880 in twenty, thirty years where everyone running for office was a victim of a 483 00:35:36.960 --> 00:35:39.480 mass shooting at a school. Yeah, it's an Evit. It's going to 484 00:35:39.480 --> 00:35:46.639 happen. It's inevitable. Like, I kin't aocus group is kind of like 485 00:35:46.679 --> 00:35:51.320 the beginning of that whole. Like this is the group of people that, 486 00:35:51.400 --> 00:35:53.840 like, is what happens when you don't fucking fix shit. So we're kind 487 00:35:53.840 --> 00:36:00.239 of coming up and yeah, yeah, Yep, it's happening. Huh. 488 00:36:00.400 --> 00:36:04.760 Yeah, fuck it. They need to do something. You guys need to 489 00:36:04.800 --> 00:36:08.119 do something. On the second man, well, and we're getting fucking election 490 00:36:08.159 --> 00:36:13.840 time right now, so y'all really better figure something out, because otherwise a 491 00:36:13.880 --> 00:36:17.239 lot of people are about to lose their fucking seats. Yeah, because we've 492 00:36:17.239 --> 00:36:23.159 got we've got elections this year and I, Oh, I don't, I 493 00:36:23.199 --> 00:36:28.159 don't understand, Greg at. It could win. I have no idea. 494 00:36:28.199 --> 00:36:30.880 I have no fucking idea. People are so mad at him right now, 495 00:36:30.159 --> 00:36:35.719 especially after the whole it could have been worse bullshit. Like, if you 496 00:36:35.920 --> 00:36:39.760 still voting for Greg Abbot at this point, you are in human soul, 497 00:36:39.800 --> 00:36:43.840 this piece of shit. They I might even see if you get, if 498 00:36:43.840 --> 00:36:46.480 you can look at that ballot and say, yeah, I still feel comfortable 499 00:36:46.559 --> 00:36:52.480 voting for this guy after he's the one that like signed, like got rid 500 00:36:52.559 --> 00:36:58.760 of all those gun restrictions they did have in Texas. Remember that a few 501 00:36:58.800 --> 00:37:00.239 years ago? Well, no, I knew. Yeah, like like after 502 00:37:00.320 --> 00:37:02.239 he so, Hoo Kay, cool, so he did all that. Cool, 503 00:37:02.280 --> 00:37:07.199 so everybody got their guns now. But after all this, you still 504 00:37:07.199 --> 00:37:09.199 look at this and think this is a good fucking idea? If you're if 505 00:37:09.239 --> 00:37:13.880 you are looking at your ballot in November and you were still yeah, I'm 506 00:37:13.880 --> 00:37:16.039 still going to vote for this guy. You're a piece of shit. You 507 00:37:16.039 --> 00:37:23.760 are a soulless excuse for human being. Yeah, I can't. Oh my 508 00:37:23.840 --> 00:37:31.280 God, it just it blows my fucking mind. D thing is like years 509 00:37:31.280 --> 00:37:35.239 waiting for the next one. Oh Yeah, at this point it's learly like 510 00:37:35.280 --> 00:37:37.920 it's summer. It's going to happen again. Yeah, like it's going there 511 00:37:37.920 --> 00:37:42.280 were there was already one in like Chattanooga or something like that a couple days 512 00:37:42.320 --> 00:37:50.159 ago. I don't think anybody died, but there was a shooting. Yeah, 513 00:37:50.239 --> 00:37:52.880 I do remember that. I don't know if that was a like a 514 00:37:52.920 --> 00:37:55.400 club or something. I can't so I'm trying to find it. Nobody. 515 00:37:55.440 --> 00:37:59.519 Don't think I mighty died on that one. Now it was a Chattanooga. 516 00:38:00.039 --> 00:38:04.599 This was on Sunday. This was Sunday. There was a shooting a Chattanooga. 517 00:38:04.760 --> 00:38:07.840 Six people were shot. Two of them suffered life threatening injuries. Hasn't 518 00:38:07.840 --> 00:38:10.239 been confronted. They died or not in or yet, following an altercation between 519 00:38:10.280 --> 00:38:15.760 two groups of people. It's a downtown Chattanooga, so this was downtown outside. 520 00:38:15.920 --> 00:38:19.920 So not sure how doors would have helped this one. ASSHOLES, but 521 00:38:23.039 --> 00:38:28.119 yeah, so that happened. That happens a couple days later. They're still 522 00:38:28.159 --> 00:38:31.280 happening. And and then I bring up back date and we had ours new 523 00:38:31.320 --> 00:38:36.519 Oregon district. Thirty seconds. Yeah, thirty seconds. It doesn't when you're 524 00:38:36.559 --> 00:38:40.039 when you're using a weapon like an AAR fifteen, it doesn't take long. 525 00:38:40.519 --> 00:38:45.079 Those kinds of firearms are designed to deal am as much damage as possible in 526 00:38:45.119 --> 00:38:50.599 as short a time as possible. That's why they're there. The cops were 527 00:38:50.719 --> 00:38:52.239 right there. They had that guy, doubt, in thirty seconds. He 528 00:38:52.280 --> 00:39:01.920 still killed nine people in injured almost anymore. But yet got to have our 529 00:39:01.960 --> 00:39:10.559 guns because the second amendment in not to bring up Jim Jakris, but it's 530 00:39:10.639 --> 00:39:20.519 amendment. Yeah, amendment note, and well, it's law. That one 531 00:39:20.559 --> 00:39:25.480 that was fucking created. It was muskets. Yeah, yeah, that's all 532 00:39:25.519 --> 00:39:30.760 it was. That's actually one of my favorite commercials ever. I ever see 533 00:39:30.760 --> 00:39:34.079 that commercial. Ball gun like it popped up for a little bitout gun control. 534 00:39:34.679 --> 00:39:36.719 It was a guy, like, guess what the secondment was really for? 535 00:39:36.760 --> 00:39:38.480 A guy comes in the office with a musket. MMM, I was 536 00:39:38.519 --> 00:39:42.440 you fires for shot and miss. Everybody like freaking out, writing and stuff 537 00:39:42.480 --> 00:39:45.480 like that. He's like loading it and yeah, like this is what the 538 00:39:45.519 --> 00:39:51.960 secondmendment was designed. M He's guns in mind. Yeah, as as we're 539 00:39:52.000 --> 00:39:53.119 allowed. I mean I think it even said you weren't even allowed to own 540 00:39:53.119 --> 00:40:00.880 a cannon. Yeah, like, no, you weren't. And it's like 541 00:40:00.480 --> 00:40:07.400 I've always said, the laws have to evolve with the times and and a 542 00:40:07.440 --> 00:40:12.559 lot of them, haven't? We see that all the time with, you 543 00:40:12.599 --> 00:40:17.199 know, laws surrounding like Internet and stuff like that, but the laws surrounding 544 00:40:17.239 --> 00:40:22.480 firearms need to do evolve with the times and they haven't. And people cling 545 00:40:22.519 --> 00:40:28.519 to it like it's this infallible piece of legal doctrine that can never be changed 546 00:40:28.519 --> 00:40:32.199 and never be challenged. Like we. We you've challenged the bill of rights 547 00:40:32.239 --> 00:40:37.440 constantly. That's why there's like over twenty, I think it's over thirty, 548 00:40:37.559 --> 00:40:42.239 amendments to the Constitution. It's not infallible. We Change Shit all the time. 549 00:40:42.960 --> 00:40:45.920 That's why we don't have slavery anymore, because we change shit all the 550 00:40:45.920 --> 00:40:51.039 fucking time. One of my favorite family guy scenes at four ring comment in 551 00:40:51.159 --> 00:40:52.719 this is where like Oh, the everybody has the right to bear arms. 552 00:40:52.719 --> 00:40:55.719 You know, has a thing of the they can have hang a pair of 553 00:40:55.760 --> 00:41:00.119 bear arms in there. Yeah, they won't get they won't mess this up 554 00:41:00.159 --> 00:41:02.599 at all. Well, no, no, not at all. There's not 555 00:41:02.599 --> 00:41:05.840 going to be any way they could US interpret that. By the way, 556 00:41:05.920 --> 00:41:08.719 let's just take all that stuff about about abortion out of there, because we 557 00:41:08.719 --> 00:41:14.559 should, we should need to put that in there right. That's not trying 558 00:41:14.559 --> 00:41:15.800 to be in commy of something light hearder, but like that's one of my 559 00:41:15.840 --> 00:41:20.119 favorite. The bear arms. Just, yeah, right to bear will even 560 00:41:20.159 --> 00:41:22.599 even Larry the cable guy, had a bit about one of his albums was 561 00:41:22.639 --> 00:41:24.719 called the right to bear arms and and he said it's like people always ask 562 00:41:24.800 --> 00:41:28.800 me why I always wear these sleeveless shirts. I said because concue says I 563 00:41:28.800 --> 00:41:34.119 have the right to bear arms. So, so fucking stupid. But it's 564 00:41:34.159 --> 00:41:37.599 again, it's like, you know, get interpret however the fuck you want, 565 00:41:37.679 --> 00:41:40.760 but the laws have to change. They can't. They can't stay the 566 00:41:40.800 --> 00:41:45.320 same. Nope, otherwise more people are in a die. Were to have 567 00:41:45.400 --> 00:41:47.840 more things like happen in text has more things that happen in Buffalo, Sandy 568 00:41:47.840 --> 00:41:52.760 Hook. Yeah, column, Bye, Virginia, Tech, Las Vegas. 569 00:41:54.079 --> 00:42:00.199 I know, Oregon, district, Orlando, Orlando, I don't like us, 570 00:42:00.239 --> 00:42:05.039 club, pulse, Night Club. Try think everyone I could think of. 571 00:42:05.519 --> 00:42:07.400 Well, here all do, because I had this. Those are the 572 00:42:07.400 --> 00:42:10.760 ones I can think off the top of my head. So so, for 573 00:42:10.760 --> 00:42:15.639 a friend of mine sent me this and it's from from the New York Times 574 00:42:15.639 --> 00:42:17.639 and it was one of their big I think it. I think it was 575 00:42:17.639 --> 00:42:21.920 their front page, and it's just and I can show you right here. 576 00:42:21.920 --> 00:42:24.519 It's from the Sunday review. Oh, that is so said. It literally 577 00:42:24.519 --> 00:42:28.840 just. It's literally just says UV Aldy, Texas Authority said the gunman was 578 00:42:28.880 --> 00:42:32.320 able to attend the way obtain the weapon legally. Buffalo obtained the weapon legally. 579 00:42:32.559 --> 00:42:36.920 Boulder, Colorado, Tad the weapon legally. Goes all the way back 580 00:42:37.000 --> 00:42:39.440 to Oak Creek, Wisconsin, to a two thousand and twelve authority said the 581 00:42:39.440 --> 00:42:44.599 gun was able to obtain the weapon legally. All of these, you know, 582 00:42:44.760 --> 00:42:47.760 Roseberg, organ Orlando, Florida, Las Vegas, Sutherland Springs, Texas, 583 00:42:47.840 --> 00:42:52.000 Parkland, Pittsburgh, thousand oaks, Virginia Beach, L Passo, Dayton, 584 00:42:52.039 --> 00:42:57.599 Ohio, Atlanta, both all of them, they got the you obtained 585 00:42:57.679 --> 00:43:02.199 the weapon legally. So don't tell me that, if we that having gun 586 00:43:02.199 --> 00:43:07.480 control laws means that guns will still be sold around illegally. Yeah, but 587 00:43:07.519 --> 00:43:10.039 the ones who were buying legally are the ones doing the shootings. Yeah, 588 00:43:10.159 --> 00:43:15.280 things, most people, and this is the way thing like laws like that 589 00:43:15.280 --> 00:43:20.440 will keep an honest person honest. Yeah, and most people that commit mass 590 00:43:20.480 --> 00:43:23.519 shootings, they're fuck that, don't get me wrong, but they're not career 591 00:43:23.559 --> 00:43:29.320 criminals. No, CREO criminals know how to get around that Shit. Yeah, 592 00:43:29.440 --> 00:43:31.519 career criminals, the ones who were doing a lot of the the buying 593 00:43:31.519 --> 00:43:37.599 of guns illegally, the guys who were buying like six shooters illegally for a 594 00:43:37.679 --> 00:43:43.519 gang hit and run. They're not going out and buying and they are fifteen 595 00:43:43.599 --> 00:43:45.599 s illegal. They're not trying to be on the fucking radar. No, 596 00:43:45.880 --> 00:43:53.119 they're it. That's that's just fucking common sense people. Yeah, like illegal 597 00:43:53.159 --> 00:43:57.719 people don't want you to know they're doing illegal shit. Yeah, these legal 598 00:43:57.760 --> 00:44:00.440 people want you to think they're getting there doing it the right way so they 599 00:44:00.440 --> 00:44:04.800 can do everything, so you'll leave them the fuck alone so that way they 600 00:44:04.800 --> 00:44:09.760 can accomplish their goal. Yeah, they want you to see them. They 601 00:44:09.800 --> 00:44:13.320 want you to know they're buying their guy, look at me, everyone, 602 00:44:13.360 --> 00:44:17.679 I am buying this gun at this gun store. Nothing illegal going on here. 603 00:44:19.360 --> 00:44:23.320 Yeah, I'll remember one time when I worked at it was a crossbow 604 00:44:23.360 --> 00:44:30.079 though, but it was kind of like whatever reason I worked at Walmart site. 605 00:44:30.119 --> 00:44:32.920 When I first start working at Walmart, some guy brought in a crossboats 606 00:44:32.960 --> 00:44:36.960 trying to return it and, yeah, it was stuck and like the latch 607 00:44:37.039 --> 00:44:40.800 position to we're like nothing was in it. Okay, but like my buddy 608 00:44:40.800 --> 00:44:45.039 brought it to the back, worked er, spit it, bring it from 609 00:44:45.039 --> 00:44:46.719 the front of the back. He walked around an entire store with it with 610 00:44:46.840 --> 00:44:52.679 a crossbowt what the crossboat let me with the thing pulled back and nobody kind 611 00:44:52.679 --> 00:44:53.559 of said anything. It was really all you had to do is load of 612 00:44:53.599 --> 00:44:55.400 Bolt in there. Yeah, that's what it's. I mean, go, 613 00:44:55.559 --> 00:44:59.760 it's a crossbow whatever, but it's kind of like, Huh. We joked 614 00:44:59.760 --> 00:45:00.920 about out that for while. I was like, nobody said Shit, and 615 00:45:00.960 --> 00:45:04.119 he was like I could easily put a boat, I mean anything, in 616 00:45:04.119 --> 00:45:07.639 there and killed somebody. Like yeah, he's like the Walmart I worked ad 617 00:45:07.639 --> 00:45:12.239 didn't sell guns, but it's sold ammo. But then the one like then 618 00:45:12.280 --> 00:45:15.559 on the other side of towns old guns. Oh ill, you know your 619 00:45:15.599 --> 00:45:19.280 something fucked up. And my kidding, I mean none of them do anymore. 620 00:45:19.320 --> 00:45:24.840 But so I remember this. These two shady mother when I work lost 621 00:45:24.840 --> 00:45:30.880 prevensions, shady guys like these are pieces of Shit dudes. HMM, and 622 00:45:30.920 --> 00:45:34.559 I know whatever came about this. HMM. The guy was like try to 623 00:45:34.559 --> 00:45:39.079 buy again and then they got the counterst like well, I need your ID 624 00:45:39.199 --> 00:45:44.000 bubble. He's about how m I D's like that kiss agains. I will 625 00:45:44.039 --> 00:45:46.119 kind of buy a knife then, M and we were like what the fuck? 626 00:45:46.360 --> 00:45:51.079 Yeah, and I'm kind of like told the costs for like they and 627 00:45:51.159 --> 00:45:57.159 some knife either, because he was like this is fucking weird shit. Yeah, 628 00:45:57.639 --> 00:45:59.400 and which I to call the cops. I was like, Dude, 629 00:45:59.400 --> 00:46:01.280 so this is what going on. Like that guy was like about try by 630 00:46:01.280 --> 00:46:02.920 a gun. I want to buy an have a hate, but then like 631 00:46:02.960 --> 00:46:07.119 wanted to buy a knife. Just kind of keeps your eye out on him. 632 00:46:07.320 --> 00:46:09.159 They didn't drive, they walked in. Yeah, but we are like 633 00:46:09.199 --> 00:46:12.760 what the fuck? And then I don't know if whatever happened with it or 634 00:46:12.840 --> 00:46:15.800 not, but it told the cops about us. So I was working lost 635 00:46:15.800 --> 00:46:17.039 prevenion, but I always remember that thinking like okay, no, Gun, 636 00:46:17.039 --> 00:46:19.920 can I buy a knife, like, who the fuck you? Just, 637 00:46:20.079 --> 00:46:22.880 yeah, fuck you trying to do right now? I was working one morning 638 00:46:23.440 --> 00:46:28.119 and a guy so like one more sold, Amma, but you can only 639 00:46:28.119 --> 00:46:30.840 buy because he they had scanning your Id. Yeah, and you could only 640 00:46:30.880 --> 00:46:34.679 buy like so much within like and there's there's all kinds of restrictions on how 641 00:46:34.719 --> 00:46:37.639 much you can buy. And so the guy had bought however many boxes of 642 00:46:37.639 --> 00:46:40.199 Amma. WHO's allowed to buy? And I was. I worked over in 643 00:46:40.280 --> 00:46:44.039 grocery. I was a supervisor there, so that was like cleaning supplies and 644 00:46:44.079 --> 00:46:46.119 shit. He calls me over. I didn't know this guy had bought Amma 645 00:46:46.199 --> 00:46:52.440 and he's he had like six bottles of bleach and as fucking cart. He's 646 00:46:52.480 --> 00:46:53.239 like you guys, he's like, you got any more of this in the 647 00:46:53.239 --> 00:46:55.199 back and I was like, I can go look and I come back out 648 00:46:55.199 --> 00:46:58.480 and I said I don't have any more back there. He's like, all 649 00:46:58.559 --> 00:47:00.159 right, I guess this should be enough. And as he turns to walk 650 00:47:00.159 --> 00:47:04.320 away, I see that the the two boxes ammo in his cart and I 651 00:47:04.360 --> 00:47:08.400 was like what the fuck? So we what the fuck?
